These terms govern your use of meteostorms.com, operated by MeteoStorms (“we”, “us”). By using the site or creating an account you agree to these terms; if you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
1. What MeteoStorms is
MeteoStorms is a free informational service about space weather and wellbeing: live geomagnetic data (the Kp index, the NOAA G-scale, solar wind), atmospheric pressure, forecasts, news and explainers, plus an optional account with a personal wellbeing journal and an AI assistant. Measurements and forecasts come from public scientific sources — NOAA SWPC and GFZ Potsdam.
2. Not medical advice
Everything on MeteoStorms — including AI-generated texts, journal analytics and recommendations — is general wellbeing information. It describes possible correlations, not diagnoses, and it is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health, and never disregard or delay seeking medical advice because of something you read here. If you think you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
3. Data accuracy
Geomagnetic and weather data come from third-party scientific sources, and forecasts are inherently uncertain. We work to display the data correctly and promptly, but we cannot guarantee its accuracy, completeness or timeliness, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. Do not rely on MeteoStorms for safety-critical decisions.
4. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. You can stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time.
5. Your content
Journal entries, chat messages and other content you create remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process this content solely to operate the service for you — for example, to show your journal analytics or to generate an AI report you request. Your journal is private: we never publish it.
6. AI-generated content
Parts of the service — data narratives, news summaries, the assistant’s answers and the journal report — are generated by AI models. AI texts can be incomplete or incorrect. They are provided for information only; verify important facts against the cited data sources and treat AI answers as a starting point, not professional advice.
7. Acceptable use
When using MeteoStorms you must not:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms;
- interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to access accounts or systems without authorisation;
- scrape or republish the service’s content at scale or present it as your own — short quotes with attribution and a link are welcome;
- abuse the AI assistant, including attempts to generate harmful or illegal content.
8. Intellectual property
The MeteoStorms name, design, texts, graphics and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright. The underlying space-weather measurements are public scientific data from NOAA SWPC and GFZ Potsdam. You may quote short excerpts of our content with attribution to MeteoStorms and a link to the source page.
9. Third-party services
The service links to or integrates third-party services — for example Telegram channels and Google sign-in. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or behaviour.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeteoStorms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The current version is always available on this page, with the date above. For material changes we will show a notice on the site; continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you use the service as a consumer, you also keep any protections granted by the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
